Flood

There has been

scares of floods

we're going to

have to evacuate.

to do final exams

Final Project

We are doing

visual basics

and we just

finished doing

a calculator

and now we

have to decide

what we want

to do for a final

project. I have

decided to do a

game in GameMaker.

Ive decided to do this

because it was the

funnest project.

Music Video

In media arts 9

we made a music

video called struggle.

Last night it was

shown at the student

film festival. I went to

watch the film

festival and Centennial's

videos were also

being shown. I suppose

their project was to make

a horror film because

all of their films were gorry

horror flicks. However

Terry Fox' videos were

mostly funny.

Second Media arts project!

So I told you

about my first

film in my

other post but

not my new

project. So our

second project

is supposed to

be on a stop

motion picture.

We have a choice

to do it with real

people or clay.

My group is doing

Claymation.

Media Arts 9

In Media arts 9

we are doing our

second film.

Our first film

was on a music

video and our

title was called

Struggle. It was

about a soccer player

and a boxer who kept

losing so they trained even

harder at ended up winning.

Pirates of the Caribean

At worlds end

was such an

awesome movie.

There was alot

more humor and

better fighting.

I just wish they would

have made it a little bit shorter.

Also at they very end big fight scene

they only fought the mother ship.

Overall it was the best Pirates movie so far.

GO MAC!!

I believe everyone

should use a Mac

because Macs

are awesome.

Soccer

I tried out for

and lst night I had

my first practice.

Our team is going

to be really

to beat my friends team.

The following few posts are going to be of all the pictures I did in Media Arts 9 a while ago.

FINISHED

I think I am done my game even when it was just assigned right now. I guess I am quite ahead. I still want to have sounds in my game so I am going to figure that out now. So far I have a start and a finish room and ten addicting levels to go along with it.

Platform Game

After my maze game I made an attempt to makie a platform game. So far I got the guy which is a blue ghost to jump around on floating platforms. It is pretty fun just jumping around but I also want to make the guy shoot which sounds pretty hard.

MAZE GAME

I made a pretty fun and addicting maze game. You get to control a hamburger and have to dodge strategically placed bears and atoms. There are diamonds that are worth a hundred points each and in some levels you have to get all of the diamonds to get to the flag. The flag will take you to the next level and so far I have nine levels. I have to say I am the best at my own game. Some times Game Maker can be frustrating.

YAAHH!!!!!!! WE STARTED MAKING GAMES IN GAME MAKER!!!!! HOORAY!!!! IT ONLY TOOK ONE PERIOD TO MAKE A BREAKOUT GAME AND WE'RE PROBABLY GOING TO BE MAKING PLATFORM GAMES!!!! IT SUX BECAUSE I TRIED DOWNLOADING GAME MAKER AT MY HOUSE AND IT DIDNT WORK BECAUSE I HAVE A MAC. WELL HOPEFULLY MR MCCRISTAL WILL TELL ME HOW TO DOWNLOAD IT.

Today we are starting to make a webpage in Info Tech 9 . It will be really fun. I'm still thinking on what i should do it on! Maybe soccer or something that I enjoy like that. Or maybe we will have it assigned to us, whatever I am about to found out in a second.

I know I have not put a post up for ten days so I am lucky I remembered to put a post up now. Basically I finished my music video like 2 weeks ago so I made a small mario flash and a madness interactive flash. I think we are starting something new like a webpage but I would rather make games. Music Video

We have finally started on our big project in flash which is our music video. First off you have to pick a song. Since the music video has to be 60 seconds long I had to cut out some of the song. The song I am using is "Anyway you want it." by "Journey." It's really fun deciding on what to put in the video and then adding them.

Flash

We have been using Flash for a while so I have not been able to work on new posts. So basically in Flash we're making a Car Video with at least 4 scenes going by. I ofcourse did way more.

Gears Family

This is a project I did at home on Fireworks. It is my family as Gears of War characters. Ofcourse I am the main character, Marcus!!

Video Game Cover!!

After having so much fun with my first magazine cover I decided to make a second. Except this time I made it as a video game cover. If you read my "Video Game Weekly" you probably noticed the "Alien Alan Game" is released. Well I made the cover as that. Enjoy!!

Magazine Cover!!

After hard thought and extreme creativeness I have made the ULTIMATE magazine cover. The magazine is called "Video Game Weekly" and it is all about the Game of the Year: Saints Row. There are pictures of me that Mr.McCristall took of us and had to be on the covers. It was really fun trying to decide what you wanted to be included with.

Saints Row!!

I decided to do one of my blogs on a very very intense awesome great amazing video game I play. This super duper game goes by the name of Saints Row. Yes, they could have put more thought into the title but if you liked Grand Theft Auto then you will absolutely love this game. In it you have this massive map called Stilwater where you can do anything you want to earn money. Some ways that are good for making money are the millions of missions you can do such as monster truck derbies, hijaking Semi's, ruining the other gangs, insurance fraud, hitmaning, and so much more. The gang you are part of is called the Saints. So, in my opinion you absolutely have to buy this game.

Amazing Word Art!

Herro,
On this fine day we finished up our koooool word art. We used Fireworks 8 to create it. For word art we made different creative shapes and added clever text to them. The criteria was to make ten shapes with words that are colouful. Here is an example of what I did.

Comix Colouring!!!

Today we finished off our comix that we took off of black and white newspapers and coloured them. We also had to take two other characters off different comix and add them in. To top it all off we inserted clever dialogue. So basically we recreated our own comix. Enjoy my comic I made.

Fruit People

Yo Sup,
Today we finished off our Fruit People and it was really fun creating them. We were supposed to make three to four fruits and all of them had to have an occupation. I made the Dad be a chef, the Mother a dog walker, and the Daughter a boxer. Enjoy my radical picture!!

Paint Shop!!

Today we were taught how to use Paint Shop. It is a clever little program that allows you to paint pictures on you're computer. There is a fun button where you can choose different pictures such as fish, buildings, and background items etc.
